BIOGRAPHY

I grew up in a household that celebrates the art whether through music, writing, or drawing. At a young age, I was encouraged to pursue art by my family, teachers, and peers. I found that creativity is something I love in all forms, and I tried out a wide range of things in acting, drawing, writing, and music. As I grew up, I narrowed my focus to traditional art, trying countless different mediums in art from oil pastels to watercolors. I even taught myself digital art which opened a new world for me. 

 

I decided to pursue animation in college after I fell in love with its ability to combine the art I had grown up with to technology that I think will shape the future. 

 

That is something I enjoy about my field. With constantly changing technology and techniques, I can continue learning both in and out of school. I have learned from my family, who has helped me go to school and pursue my passion, as well as my teachers and friends who have helped me throughout my life. Their encouragement and constant interest in what I am doing, makes me want to excel and challenge myself. 

 

I am excited to continue learning, now freshly out of college. I have been so fortunate to have the opportunities I have, and to have made the connections with my peers and teachers and supervisors that I have, and I look forward to meeting new people and embracing new opportunities and challenges as I continue pursuing my passion for art and creativity.
